An Ode to Ali & Bec

Day 4

I don't have the slightest idea where they are or what they are doing. I rely on Pez for that information. They're still in Dublin I think and moving down south tomorrow.

Today was yet another spectacular, beautiful day and I was happy I got to be outside.

I was designing the power train for our all-terrain robot in class today and the tutor was walking around helping with the difficult question he had given us. It was embarrassing when he came and looked interested in all my little drawings and calculations and I had to explain that it was a different subject and though I was working on this, I really was paying attention too and it wasn't that he was a bad tutor or anything.

As I was walking home, a dragonfly flew right into the center of my forehead. Hard.

I gave the talk at BB tonight. I was talking along and I decided to skip down to another paragraph later in my talk because the ideas fitted well together. Except then I couldn't get back and all the bits I missed didn't fit in anymore. But it turned out OK.

Then later on I took a kid out with a ball to the side of the head.

And that's what I did today. Not very exciting unfortunately.

And I also rode a unicorn, ran into the same pole 4 times, invented a device which makes it snow in my backyard, drew a smiley face on the opera house with a giant texta, didn't miss the good train home, had a huge pie for lunch, met an octopus, and made a computer out of lamingtons. But I could be making that up.
