ODE TO ALI AND BEC (day 2)
Ok so i got the dates mixed up! Yesterday Ali and Bec actually flew to London and they went from there to Dublin today! Oooops! Yeh My bad, sorry guys if you read this. But the initial first day was so much shorter than the others i just assumed it was all the one day! ( i should have looked at the dates :P )

Yeh so basically they are staying in Dublin tonight and probably having a really good time!

In terms of writing in the Ben Factor into these 'daily' blogs, I'm still waiting to hear from the Big Man himself. To let me know if its ok to or not, gotta get permission for things like that. The legal thing and all!

Ok so today was another one of those great days, good weather but because it was the second one in the row i was sick of it! :( I really dont like the warm weather! It annoys me. Also for some reason i was just in a shit (sorry Tim) mood by the time i got to uni. I had a great morning but meh just got worse by the time the afternoon started rolling in.

Also, Ali and Bec missed a lunar eclipse today! Actually I'm pretty sure its a worldwide event but its day time where you are so you wouldnt have seen it as well as we did here. It looked pretty cool except that it was while i was driving home from uni so i couldnt really watch it. It looked like a shadow covered the moon and then it went red and then the moon started coming back.
So for the historical wierd and wacky, in Indian terms the God of the Sun is being blocked out and is suffering. Thats why the moon goes red, it symbolises the blood shed between the Moon God and the Sun God as they struggle for survival. A view shared by the old pagans. So out of respect, food prepared before the eclipse is not eaten after the eclipse. Its also more significant for people of the Hindu religion because today is the first day of the Festival of Krishna. (another god, the holy cow one)
A lunar eclipse occurs once every 4 years and Krish Astomi is a festival whose dates are determined by the lunar cyles and phases. The fact that they coincided was something that happens once every 100-150 years.

For the pagans out there, tonight is a very important night on the wiccan calandar where the power of the Goddess is at its peak. Spells and enchantments that use the typically female crystals and elements are particularly powerful.

Still an "Ode To Ali And Bec"? I reckon you should make it more poetic if it's an ode. There's a challenge for you.

Now they are in Dublin, they'll be having so much more fun. You might even say they're 'Dublin' their fun! Ha ha ha!

The eclipse was kind of cool.
