Doing: Florence to Rome
Learn about the Duomo Giotto’s Bell-Tower, Piazza Della Signoria and Santa Croce as our expert local guide walks us through the city this morning. Shop for silver and gold and see a demonstration of Florentine leather craft. We continue to the fabled city of Rome. Do as the Romans do and stroll past the the trevi fountain, the pantheon and Piazza Navona. Later be delighted by your first glimpse of the colosseum.

Doing: French Riviera to Florence
We leave the French Riviera and travel to Italy past the sea side city of Genoa to the leaning tower of Pisa, we continue through the vineyards of Tuscany to Florence.

Amy and i even made plans to go into the city last weekend and we didnt end up keeping them because of her anniversary with pete. Guess what! Thats in it too!!!

DAY 16

BEC AND ALI

So today as part of the tour, ali and bec are off to see the Lion monument. Which is in Swizerland still. In the early 1800s, the Danish artist Bertel Thorvaldsen was hired to sculpt a monument to the fallen Swiss Guards. The sculpture was carved in a sandstone cliff above the city center, near Lucerne's Glacier Garden and the Panorama, and it has attracted countless visitors since its dedication in 1821.

After visiting this they will be off to the Chapel Bridge, just to walk across it apparently. I hope they at least get a photo in on thier walk! It was built in 1333 and is 200 meters in length and features 120 captioned triangular paintings from the early 1500s that chronicle the city’s history. The bridge was nearly destroyed in a 1993 fire and has been restored.

Apparently the most exciting part of todays tour is that they get to wander the cobbled streets...aka to any good representative girl as SHOPPING!

I have an assignment due on friday...and I'm stuck. I'm panicking because its due but i can't seem to just sit down and write it. It could be as a result of not understanding the question. But because everyone got different questions its not like i can ask other people if i'm on the right track or not. I'm stuck and I'm worried and I can't sleep and I feel dumb! It's stupid...I really hope this is the last semester I have to sit through a subject liek this...GARR!! What are the chances.

And I'm really annoyed that the pictures of where ali and bec are turning out so small but the pictures about my part of the blog are so big! I also, in no way claim to have written the entire blog!

DAY 15

On the way from Paris to Lucerne...

Ali says...'Takes us towards the towering Alps and vast serene lakes of Switzerland where we take a cable car or cog railway up Mt Pilatus to our hotel...'

Sounds good!! Do they do swiss massages there? Cause i really could use one. LOL.

Today...only a little more energy than yesterday.... Slept in till10am though. I felt sooo lazy. But yeh not the entire time was spent sleeping. Most of it was just staring at the ceiling thinking 'I'm so tired!' LOL.

Ok, firstly apologies...have written 2500+ words today for an assignment, so not really in the mood to type more. Will be making this a short one.

Bec and Ali are in Paris. Here's what Ali wrote of today...

'...Visit a French perfume house and then take the opportunity to visit some of the most celebrated icons of Europe. The Lurve, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees...'
