Although a bit late i think its worth a mention that Ali came 11th our of 19 in her first official races. Not only that but she's alsoin the World's Guiness Book of Records...something to do withthe largest womens only meet :D yaya Alice!!!!

I think it's worth mentioning that she started from 17th. That's a lot of slow people to get stuck behind and to have to overtake before the leaders get too far ahead. 11th is more impressive than it sounds.
Back in the old days when I was working at the Speedway my favourite driver was my favourite driver because of some of the overtaking moves I'd seen him pull. He didn't come first all that much, he ran consistently about 4th or 5th (sometimes higher, sometimes lower) but boy could he drive and pull those moves.
